Gits - Medu Vada Mix - (ready to cook fritter mix) - 200g

Savoury tea-time snacks made from lentils, and fried until crisp, crunchy, and golden brown. Makes 18 Vadais of approx. 16g each: Mix contents of the 300g pack with 160 ml water to form a soft dough. Set aside for 10-15 mins. Divide the dough into 18 parts. Mould each part into a doughnut shape. Heat 300 ml oil in a deep pan until a pinch of dough rises quickly to the surface. Deep fry the Medu Vadais until crispy and golden brown. Serve hot with Gits Sambhar, coconut chutney or tomato sauce. -
